Who is LiteLLM for, and who is AutoRouter for?
LiteLLM suits platform teams that want one gateway for every app, with budgets and cost data by team. AutoRouter suits people who use Codex or Claude Code on a Mac and want the model chosen for each turn.
What does LiteLLM cost?
The gateway is open source under the MIT license and free to use in production. Enterprise is an annual license priced by request capacity, installation and support, and never per token. A 30-day trial key is available.
How do you set up LiteLLM?
Install with one command, the Docker image or the Helm chart, then connect your apps to it. It runs in your cloud, on-prem or in an air-gapped network.
How does LiteLLM choose models?
One OpenAI-compatible API reaches 140+ providers, and the gateway sends each request to the correct model.
How do I move over from LiteLLM?
AutoRouter has no keys or endpoints to set up. If your services already call a gateway, they can keep calling it, and you only install AutoRouter on the Macs that run Codex or Claude Code.
What does AutoRouter cost?
